PIDA Day, Wednesday, 12th July, 2023, Nairobi Kenya

About the PIDA Day

The PIDA Day provides an opportunity to engage and exchange information on PIDA  infrastructure development in Africa for the last decade.

Launch of the 10 Year PIDA Progress Report

To reflect what the PIDA has achieved over a decade and critical considerations moving forward for the continent’s integration and development.
Objectives of the PIDA Day

2022 marked the 10th anniversary since the PIDA was officially approved. The 10th anniversary of the PIDA has made us aware of the importance of a comprehensive review of the PIDA implementation over a decade from 2012-2022. As part of the AUDA-NEPAD and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) cooperation project, the development of the First 10-years PIDA Progress Report is underway.

The PIDA Day aims to deliver value internally and externally by accelerating the implementation of PIDA. By bringing together the high-level participants from public and private sectors, the PIDA Day provides an opportunity to launch the 10 Year PIDA Progress Report: To reflect what the PIDA has achieved over a decade and critical considerations moving forward.
